We encourage all customers who are under active maintenance to use the most
recent possible version of DotImage. This is especially true for users who are
building/deploying web-based applications as browsers and web servers are
constantly being updated by vendors, and we often need to provide
changes/updates to ensure compatibility. (For instance, IE 11 made some major
changes that mean that users on anything older than 10.4.1 may encounter issues
with IE 11)
However, there are times when it's important, due to legacy application
support, or due to needing to keep a large number of developers compatible with
each other (using the same version) when it's necessary to install an older
version of DotImage.
